The Kelsey Group predicts that U.S. Free Directory Assistance revenues will reach $462 million by 2012.
They also state that many directory publishers are bypassing using ‘Yellow’ in the brand to
free themselves from people’s perception of “Yellow” as they delve outside the core business into verticals, search, DA, mobile, classifieds and beyond
Funny that Yellow Pages NZ just did the exact opposite rebranding to “Yellow”.

HI Guys,
I agree with you completely. The rebrand to Yellow was hardly worth it.
The new directories service is slower online, slower on the phone and not proving to be very innovative.
The best thing about ZENBU is the ability to use simple natural language queries to get results. It is quite amazing but I have been using the tool for the last 2 months and its’ accuracy is very high.
Really happy to hear about the API – how about a beer sometime ?
